What should an OnlyFans tip menu cost?
Every line has to sit between $3 and $100 to be payable by any fan, and between $3 and $200 to be payable by a fan who has been on OnlyFans at least four months. Those are the published limits, not estimates. A workable menu runs one impulse line under $10, three or four between $10 and $50, and one at or near $100, with 20% coming off each one before it reaches you.
The reason this matters more than any list of menu ideas is a detail buried in the Help Center. A tip is the only payment on OnlyFans whose ceiling belongs to the buyer. You choose a subscription price inside a fixed band. You choose an unlock price inside a fixed band. You do not choose the tip ceiling at all: it is $100 until that specific fan has been on the platform four months, and then it is $200. You cannot see how old a fan account is, and the fans arriving from a promo post this week are new by definition. So the top of your menu is $100 for the people most likely to buy on impulse, whatever the template you copied says.

They are worth seeing together, because the moment you can see all six at once the design of a tip menu stops being a matter of taste. There is no way to collect more than $200 in a single fan action anywhere on the platform, and only a bundle reaches $250.

The last row is the one nobody builds around. A new fan can spend $500 a day in total, across the subscription, every unlock and every tip. If your welcome message sends a $45 unlock and your pinned menu opens with a $100 line, you have already asked for a third of that fan's first day allowance before they have decided whether they like you. Menu ideas are worth less than the shape of the menu. What follows is the shape, with the net beside each band so you can see what the fee does at every level. Pick one or two lines from each band rather than listing everything you are willing to do, because a long menu reads as a price list and a short one reads as an offer.

One line is worth adding that no template includes: a standing item the fan renews themselves. A recurring tip is not a feature OnlyFans offers, so it only works if the fan chooses to send it again, which means the deliverable has to be something they notice missing. Priority replies for a month is the version that works, because the absence is obvious the moment it stops.

Two things make this work that are easy to miss. The turnaround time is stated on the only line where a fan is likely to wait, which removes the follow up messages that eat the margin on custom work. And the closing line tells fans that tipping gets attention, which is true on any account where you actually honor it, and is the single cheapest way to move a fan from reading to paying. Why is there no tip button on my OnlyFans page?
Because it has not been switched on yet. The Help Center article on tips is three sentences long and the first two are the answer: "To add a tip button complete the Creator onboarding process and start posting content. Once you have begun actively posting on OnlyFans we will activate the tip feature."
Read that carefully, because it is a sequence and not a checkbox. Onboarding alone is not enough. The phrase is "begun actively posting", and activation is something OnlyFans does, not something you toggle. No timeframe is published, and no article anywhere in the Help Center gives one. In practice this means the first week of a new account is the one week where a pinned tip menu is guaranteed to underperform, which is exactly when most new creators post one, having read a launch checklist that told them to.
The sane order is content first, menu second. Post consistently until the tip button appears on your own profile when you view it, then pin the menu. What you cannot put on an OnlyFans tip menu
A tip menu is a post. It carries no special status, which means every rule that governs post text governs your menu, and a menu is more exposed than an ordinary caption because it is pinned and it sits there for months.
- A raffle, draw or giveaway entry. Charging for a chance at something is a paid competition, which gets removed, and in many US states an entry fee plus a prize plus chance is the legal definition of a lottery. Sell the thing, not the ticket.
- Anything payable off platform. A menu line that routes payment elsewhere is the fastest way to lose an account, and it also removes the one protection tips have, which is that they are non refundable and chargeback protected under the Terms.

- Prices below $3 or above $200. Not a policy point, a mechanical one. Those amounts cannot be sent as a tip at all.
- A deliverable you have not decided you will make. A pinned menu is a standing offer, and the fans who take you up on the line you regret listing are usually your best payers.

Many creators also put a shortened version in the bio and send the full menu in the welcome message. All three are ordinary text you write, so the same content rules that apply to any post apply to the menu.
Is a tip menu better than PPV?
They do different jobs. A tip is a fan choosing to pay for something they want, capped at $100 or $200 by their own account age. A pay to unlock message is you sending something priced between $3 and $100 that they choose to open. Menus work for made to order items, unlocks work for content that already exists.
Can I put a raffle or a giveaway on my tip menu?
No. Charging fans for entry into a draw is a paid competition, which OnlyFans removes, and depending on where you and the fan live it can also be an unlicensed lottery. A tip menu has to trade a tip for a specific deliverable, not for a chance at one.
Why is there no tip button on my page?
Because the feature has not been switched on yet. OnlyFans publishes that you add a tip button by completing creator onboarding and starting to post, after which "we will activate the tip feature". Until then a pinned tip menu points at a payment route your fans cannot use.
Can a fan get a tip refunded?
Only if the Terms of Service were violated. The published refund article covers subscriptions, tips, streams, paid posts and paid messages together and says all of them are non refundable otherwise, and fans separately agree in the Terms not to make unjustified refund or chargeback requests, on pain of suspension.
